剛去別墅剪頭髮,結果路上被兩個傳教士攔下來

Both: God loves you.
Me: But I don't love god.

Miller: You should come to our church, and then decide whether you like it or
not.
Me: Sorry, I'm not interested.

(I've repeated this like 10 times in the whole conversation...)

Miller: Do you have time tomorrow?
Me: There's a typhoon tomorrow.
Miller: Typhoon is fun. I'll go to church even if there's a typhoon.
Me: Typhoon's not fun. And I rather stay home and watch movies.

(some chats I don't remember)

Miller: So are you coming tomorrow?
Me: I don't know. Maybe I have stuffs to do.
Miller: 屁! (Yep, you haven't seen wrong. He did say this word and repeated
it several times.)
Miller: You Taiwanese likes to tell lies. You people promise to come and
never show up. They 打勾勾(這是比手勢) but they lie. You guys are
rude.
Me: That's why I don't do 打勾勾(比手勢) with you.
Me: The cultures are different. People lied to you because they wanted to
to end this conversation fast, but they didn't know how. It's polite
not to turn you down directly in our culture.
Miller: So do you think it's lying?
Me: Yes. But if you grow up in Taiwan, maybe you'll think it's very normal.

(內心的OS: You want to talk about lying? Your president Bush lied about the
weapons in Iraq that have never existed.
Well, maybe he'll talk about 陳水扁, and then I would have to admit
that Taiwanese like to lie too.
Too bad we haven't talk about this subject.)

And the talking went on.
Because I insisted that I'm not interested, finally he gave me back the card
which I put my name on, and ended the conversation (or arguement ?).
Well, I think he's quite rude 'cause his face turned from smiling to
emotionless right away. And didn't even say good bye. (Well, I did say bye
to him.)

Wtf? Some idiot Americans come to Taiwan and criticize about Taiwan people
and our culture? Talking about rudeness, don't you know saying the word "屁"
is very rude? Especially to people you are not familiar with.

Well, I have to say this Miller's Chinese is quite good. He can read my
Chinese name and he can speak Mandarin quite well. The conversation's in
English only because I want to pratice my English speaking.
